When will Jefferson Pepper play the West Coast? I keep demanding it, but I don't see any movement.

How am I doing?

Hmmm. Things are going really well with the union. Obama was inaugurated, and almost immediately signed executive orders closing the prison at Guantanamo Bay and banning torture. And the Republicans are now a minority in the House and the Senate.

I'm doing ... OK.

JUST KIDDING! I'M DOING FUCKING GREAT! WOO-HOOOO!

P.S.
Doing some celebrating tonight with my pal Jack Daniels. Please forgive the hyperbole.

JEFFERSON PEPPER'S DISCOGRAPHY AND FAVORITE ARTISTS

My songs have been described as Alt-Country music for people who hate (mainstream, commercial top 40 radio) country music.
...Or, as I guess it's now called, Americana, which is sort of a mix of alternative rock, contemporary folk and country.

Some favorite artists include (click on red titles to watch YouTube videos of these artists):
Tom Waits, Neil Young, John Prine, Steve Earle, Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt, Slaid Cleaves, Eliza Gilkyson, The Gourds, Hamell on Trial, Jon Langford, Sam Baker, Ryan Adams, Bad Livers, Patti Smith, Old Crow Medicine Show, Packway-Handle Band, Jackson Browne, Steve Forbert, Emmylou Harris, Woody Guthrie, Vic Chesnutt, Elvis Costello, Iris DeMent, Bottle Rockets, Jonathan Byrd, Beck, Hayes Carll, The Beatles, Chris Smither, Lucinda Williams, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Townes Van Zandt, The Meat Puppets, Kathy Mattea, Willie Nelson, Guy Clark, Rodney Crowell, Cracker, Johnny Cash, The Louvin Brothers, Wilco, James McMurtry, Whiskeytown, Richard Thompson, Jim Reeves and Chip Taylor, in no particular order.
If you're not familiar with some of these artists, check them out...you'll be glad you did.
